1. WHAT ARE COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES?
Cookies are small text files placed on a device by a website. Similar technologies include browser local storage, session storage, pixels, and SDKs that store or access information on a device.
2. WHAT WE USE
We use only technologies needed for service operation, security, authentication, preferences, contact-form protection, and optional analytics that you choose. Based on the current website implementation, this includes HTTP-only authentication cookies, browser local storage and session storage, a browser-stored cookie-consent record, Google reCAPTCHA for contact-form protection, and Vercel Speed Insights only after analytics consent.
3. NECESSARY COOKIES AND BROWSER STORAGE
Necessary technologies are required for sign-in, account security, session management, fraud and abuse prevention, routing requests to the backend, preserving security-related state, remembering consent choices, and operating requested features.
Examples include access-token and refresh-token cookies set for authenticated sessions, local storage used for session activity and product preferences, and the cookie-consent preference record. Production authentication cookies may be scoped to the neuratrial.com domain family so that canonical and alias domains can operate consistently.
The current application also uses browser local storage or session storage for operational UI state such as session activity timestamps, MFA timers and attempts, last-used sign-in email, selected sidebar/dashboard/table preferences, selected knowledge-base and conversation settings, pending job navigation, draft or workbench recovery state, and chunk-load recovery. Necessary technologies cannot be disabled through our cookie banner because the Services may not function securely without them.
4. CONTACT-FORM SECURITY
Google reCAPTCHA is used for contact-form bot protection where the contact form is shown. Contact-form submissions send a reCAPTCHA token, IP-derived request metadata, and the submitted contact details to verify that the request is not abusive. We do not use reCAPTCHA as optional analytics or advertising tracking.
5. OPTIONAL ANALYTICS
Optional analytics help us understand website performance and product usage trends. Vercel Speed Insights is loaded only after analytics consent is recorded. If analytics consent is rejected, cleared, expired, or not yet given, this analytics component is not loaded.
6. WHAT WE DO NOT CURRENTLY USE
We do not currently load optional marketing cookies through the cookie banner or use cookie-based advertising on the public website.
7. HOW TO MANAGE CHOICES
You can accept optional analytics, reject optional analytics, or save preferences in the cookie banner. You can reopen choices using the cookie settings control or the "Your privacy choices" link in the website footer.
Cookie choices renew after 180 days, when the cookie policy version changes, or when browser storage is cleared. Browser controls may also allow you to delete or block cookies, but blocking necessary cookies may prevent secure sign-in or other requested features.
For signed-in users, we also store compact cookie-consent metadata in the backend so the platform can honor and evidence your current preference. If browser storage is cleared, the banner will ask again.
8. UPDATES
We may update this Cookie Policy when our technologies, providers, legal obligations, or operating practices change. The date at the top indicates when it was last updated.
